3D film

A 3D film is a sequence of images generated from a digital scene to present a building, a journey through it or a change over time.

How the film is built

Production starts with a narrative purpose: reveal the site, move through spaces or explain phases. A storyboard sets the shot order, duration and message before final frames are rendered.

Models, materials and layouts are combined with camera paths, lighting, sometimes people and sound. Resolution, running time, screen format and social-media versions should be agreed in the brief.

Viewing limits

Movement can make a proposal engaging but does not replace technical review. Unconfirmed elements should be identified; very fast cameras, excessive wide angles or dense editing can distort the viewer’s sense of space.

Practical questions

Why approve a storyboard?

It allows the narrative and framing to be corrected before final rendering, when changes are easier to make.

How long should it be?

That depends on the channel and number of ideas. Giving every shot a clear purpose matters more than filling an arbitrary duration.
