3D floor plan

A 3D floor plan represents one building level in volume, usually from above, to clarify layout, furniture and proportions.

Useful content

A dimensioned plan, partitions, openings, heights and fixed equipment form the base. Furniture, textures and use cues help non-specialists understand circulation and room functions.

Detail depends on the channel: a thumbnail needs a simple composition, while a unit page can support more information.

Limits

Perspective can distort apparent dimensions and walls are often cut away to reveal interiors. A 3D floor plan therefore complements rather than replaces sales or technical drawings.

Practical questions

Should the plan be furnished?

Furniture communicates scale, but should be plausible and marked as indicative when it is not included.

Can two units be compared?

Yes, when orientation, visual scale and detail level are consistent.
