Architectural animation films for property developments
Tell your development’s story, from its surroundings to its distinctive spaces. We create architectural animation films for launches, presentations and your selected distribution channels.
Narrative 3D video presenting a real-estate development in motion, from the flyover of the site to the interior of the homes.
A real-estate 3D animation film tells a development's story in motion: flyover, arrival on site, discovery of the exteriors and entry into the homes, with rhythm, framing and emotion. It can be adapted for the development page, social media, a real-estate stand or an investor presentation. Vizion Studio produces a complete 3D animation film in 20 to 30 days.
3 animation films delivered
Every film stages a real development, from aerial flyover to pedestrian walkthrough.
Your deliverables
What you receive

Scope agreed before production
Length, storyboard, scenes, formats, music and any voice-over are specified in the quotation.
Materials tailored to your role
Property developers
Present a residential or commercial development before completion. We define the views and materials needed for your launch, sales meetings and individual units.
Choose your property sales materialsArchitects and project owners
Make volumes, materials and the project’s surroundings easier to understand. Viewpoints are based on your plans to help explain the architectural intent.
Prepare your architectural briefReal estate communication agencies
Use 3D deliverables across your campaign: development websites, brochures, signage and digital media. Formats and reviews are agreed with your creative team.
Plan your campaign deliverablesThe developments featured in our property films
Watch the films in this page’s portfolio. These written presentations identify the development and the type of work featured in each example.
The Height — villas in Pefkali, Greece
This 3D animation presents the villas at The Height in Pefkali. The presentation connects the architecture, surrounding nature and views over the Aegean Sea to explain the setting of the development.
Rayol Bay — property animation
The Rayol Bay 3D animation presents a development between the sea and nature. It highlights the architecture and landscape to make the development understandable before completion.
Les Berges de la Lys — Armentières
For the Kaufman & Broad development in Armentières, the 3D animation presents the residences, green spaces and surroundings. The model places the future homes in their environment.
L’EGÉRIE — property video editing
This example presents an EDIFIM property development through video editing. It illustrates the assembly of presentation content, a service distinct from creating scenes in 3D animation.
Define your property animation before production
The storyboard specifies the order of sequences and the messages to convey. Approve it before producing animations so camera movements and versions serve the intended channels.
An animation creates scenes and camera movements from the project model. Video editing assembles existing material. Distinguish these services and their versions in the quotation.
| Channel | Points to approve |
|---|---|
| Development website | Main film, thumbnail, player and the video’s place in the presentation journey. |
| Sales presentation | Sequences useful in meetings, readable text and screen playback conditions. |
| Social media | Short version, landscape, portrait or square framing, text and subtitles as appropriate to the narration. |
| Trade fair or sales suite | Looping playback, understanding without sound and screen format. |
Which 3D animation for which purpose?
A 3D animation tells the story of the development in a chosen order. Its length, sequences and formats are defined in the brief.
Launch film
A complete presentation of the development, from its neighbourhood to the homes, for the sales launch.
Teaser
A short version, designed for social media and campaigns, that makes people want to know more.
Interior film
A walk through a show home, to show volumes, light and finishes.
Development flyover
An animated aerial view that places the development in its surroundings and shows its access.
Sales suite and trade fairs
A loop on screen to welcome visitors and support sales appointments.
Distribution formats
Landscape for the website and screens, vertical or square for social media: formats are defined in the brief.
Preparing a property 3D animation
These items let us build the story of the film and define its production.
- Project drawings (site plan, floors, elevations) or the BIM model.
- The finishes schedule and landscaping.
- The key messages of the development and the target audience.
- A storyboard or, failing that, the list of sequences you want.
- Music, voice-over or on-screen text, if any.
- The planned formats and distribution channels.
3D animation, rendering or virtual tour?
The film tells the story of the development in a chosen order: it guides the eye and sets a mood. A 3D rendering fixes one view; a virtual tour lets buyers explore freely.
The film can reuse the modelling produced for the renderings: planning them together keeps all materials consistent.
From brief to ready-to-use materials

3D film, rendering, orbital model or virtual tour?
The 3D animation film is the strongest narrative asset. Choose it when the goal is to tell and activate, not just to show.
The highlighted column is the best-suited asset for a sales launch and multi-channel distribution.
| 3D animation film | 3D rendering | Orbital model | Virtual tour | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Narrative power | Very high | Low | Medium | Medium |
| Interactivity | None | None | High | High |
| Main use | Launch & campaign | Brochure & listing | Web exploration | Home discovery |
| Production time | 20 to 30 days | 3 to 5 days | 10 to 20 days | 20 to 30 days |
| Ideal channels | Social, landing, show | Print, static web | Site, presentation | Site, remote sales |

Before starting your project
Do we need a storyboard before producing an architectural animation?
Yes. The storyboard sets the order of the sequences, the viewpoints and the message of each scene. It is approved with you before the 3D scenes are produced, which avoids reworking shots that have already been rendered.
Where should a development film be shown?
On the development page, in the sales suite, in investor presentations and on social media. Each channel has its own format: the variations you need are planned in the quotation so they can be prepared during editing.
Which deliverables are included in the quotation?
Length, storyboard, scenes, formats, music and any voice-over are specified in the quotation.
How much does an architectural animation cost?
The price of an architectural animation depends on its length, the number of exterior and interior scenes, the level of detail of the surroundings and the editing options: music, voice-over, titles and social media versions. The approved storyboard sets this scope before production.
Which documents are needed to start?
Send available plans, material and design references, required views or spaces and your target date. If the brief is incomplete, we will identify the missing information during scoping.
How are timing and reviews organised?
We agree a schedule after reviewing the brief, separating first proposals, your feedback and final delivery. Changes to plans or scope may require a revised schedule.
How does this differ from other 3D services?
A film guides viewers through a chosen sequence. An orbital model or virtual tour gives users control over their exploration.
How can the deliverables be used and updated?
Formats, permitted uses and any hosting arrangements are specified in the quotation. Tell us about planned updates or variations so we can account for them in the scope.
